Fancy another go? Remember you can re-enter your team in to another event later in the year for a second crack at Jersey. Check out your options on ' events later in the year ' still to be filled. 97 points won at St Kew and Selsey.... three 33's might just do it.
2008 Regional Qualifiers- Maldon GC the next instalment......
As we move North and the sun follows us, we encountered another home win with Maldon C having too much for the visitors. In a full field Keith Moakes, Chris Clark and Alan Buckingham produced incredible golf to trounce the field winning by 15 points, on 105. By far the best score recorded this year. Ray Galbally, M Fanning and Ian Dancey followed them home with 90.
After a 'stewards enquiry!'............it was apparent that the winning team had just had a perfect day and richly deserved their victory. On they go to Jersey with our best wishes. Thanks to Maldon for hosting. Once again we were treated to a perfectly groomed course, lovingly prepared. Many commented on the quality of the catering provided, once again a great success and the field for the national finals starts to take shape.....

NATIONAL NINES CHAMPIONS
 
SIDCUP GC MALDON GC
This is the only national championship exclusively open to 9-hole golf club members. Throughout the year we are holding regional qualifying competitions for teams
of three players representing their golf club. From each regional final the winning team is invited to represent their club in the national finals to be held at the Les Ormes Leisure and Lodges Resort, Jersey in September. www.lesormes.je
The winning teams will have their accommodation, travel and golf paid for and will compete to be named the 'National Nines Open Champions 2008'.
Details of entry can be found in the 'Rules' section and entry into the tournament can be completed online in the 'Enter Tournament' section.
Our commitment as tournament organisers is to put on a fantastic national golf event for all 9-hole golf club members wishing to be involved and to grow the collaboration between 9-hole courses throughout the United Kingdom. The event is
open to all members of 9-hole golf clubs holding a bona fide EGU affiliated handicap.
We look forward to receiving your entry and meeting you at one of our regional finals. We wish you a great golfing year in 2008 and look forward to crowning our new champions in Jersey later this year.

Ladies Event
Seniors Event
The Ladies First round has now been completed for the England section. All matches were finished on time, thank you. The second round matches are now due to be played with a completion date of 18th May.
Good luck to all remaining competitors, we await the results with anitcipation.
Scotland league matches have also commenced and all results are declared on the ladies page, click the link at the top.
Note, the ladies Plate competition will be drawn after completion of the second round of the main draw. All teams that have lost there first match will be invited to participate.
